Forest Guide training in Melghat Tiger Reserve
Guide training was organized for tourist guide of Project Tiger Melghat. These residential training were held in the complex of Harisal Sankul on 6 & 7th June 2016. Total 52 guides were present in this training from Gugamal, Sipana & Akot Wildlife Division of MTR.
This training was took place under the guidance of Dr. Dinesh Kumar Tyagi (CCF & Field Director MTR), Gugamal’s DCF Ravindra Wankhede, Sipana’s DCF Sunil Sharma and Akot’s DCF Umesh Udal Verma, ACF Yashwant Bahale along with the Wildlife Activist Yadav Tarate Patil. The trainees were deluded in the Narnala sanctuary and rehabilitated area of Akot Wildlife Divion. These include mammals, birds, butterflies and spiders. On the last day, all the guides were given a written test. Throughout the training, guides were given greater emphasis on discipline about tourism, discipline with the tourist, while moving tourists in the jungle. How to be careful not to disturb the biodiversity of tigers and other forests. It was also directed to inform tourists about biodiversity. In the last session of training, Sipana’s DCF Sunil Sharma, IFS Trainee Amalendu Pathak, ACF Yashwant Bahale and Wildlife Activist Yadav Tarte Patil were presented with certificates as well as book prizes from birds and Indian animals in India. For this training, Mrs. Meshram, Forest Guard. Rupali Yevle, Mr.Metkar, Mr. Syed Hassam and Mr. Sheikh Taslin received the cooperation.
